Aged just 21, Henri PFR, the fresh prince of the turntables, has made his arrival in a matter of months as the new sensation of the Belgian electro scene. As a composer and producer, Henri PFR is a classically trained musician. From the age of 6, he studied music theory and took classical piano for the next nine years. Around age 14, young Henri started taking an interest in electronic music.
His first mixing tape entitled ‘Summer Memories’, which he posted on YouTube-La Belle Music, drew over 70 million views and attracted the attention of Armin Van Buuren’s famous Armadao label, which signed Henri for his first two singles, including “Tarida”.
Henri PFR is fast making his mark as a creator of strong melodies, further enhanced by arrangements that are as sparkling as they are efficient, and which etch themselves into your memory from the very first listen.
He goes on to work with German producer Robin Schulz for whom he remixes a song entitled “Sugar”. Together they subsequently produce “Wave Goodbye”, a piece of music that features on Robin Schulz’s latest album.
Henri moves up in the world and strikes a deal with the prestigious Sony Music label, which puts out “One People”, “Home” and, in October 2016, “Until The End” which puts him at the top of the charts for several months on end en earned him his first gold record. The acoustic version of “Until The End” shows the sheer musical quality of the song, delivering a breezy and captivating melody.
The media pick up on the phenomenon that is Henri PFR and confirm all the good things and the esteem in which he is held by wider audiences, who are now in their millions following young Henri on YouTube!
In March 2017, he fills and enraptures iconic Brussels concert venue the “Ancienne Belgique” and his name ranks high on the bill of some of the biggest festivals (Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland (mainstage), Lollapalooza, …).
Now in great demand in all four corners of the globe, Henri PFR is continuing to deliver electrifying electro sets to increasingly bigger audiences in Europe, the United States, Asia, Dubai, Beirut, etc.
In parallel with his dizzying rise to fame on the merit of his own tunes, the young DJ is not about to abandon his turntables and is continuing to amaze audiences with his devilishly heady and hook-laden electro beats.
With a fifth single “In The Mood” set to be released in October, Henri PFR’s music is the talk of the town and the world at large!
